1 uncooked pie crust
3 large eggs
Half a cup of granulated sugar
Half a teaspoon of salt
½ teaspoon nutmeg
2-2/3 cups milk
1 teaspoon pure vanilla

Preheat oven to 350 degrees
In a medium-sized bowl, using a hand mixer or whisk, lightly beat the eggs. Add sugar, salt, nutmeg, milk and vanilla and mix well until combined (the mixture will be rather fluffy)
Carefully pour the mixture into an unroasted pie crust and bake for 35-40 minutes
Take it out of the oven and let it cool completely to room temperature
Sprinkle the entire cooled pie top with nutmeg, cut into slices and serve.
